Yes. They are specifically formulated for the foam filters ONLY. Other brands/types of cleaners will not work and may damage the foam and the performance of the filter.

Yes. Only a slight residue of conditioner should remain on your fingers when pinching the foam.

Work the conditioner into the foam by folding, then firmly squeezing leaving no dry areas on the foam.

Over oiling may lead to malfunction of MAF sensors. Excess oil can coat the air induction system.

Note: Similarly cotton filters can be over oiled.

O2Rush filters utilizes 45 cells per sq. cm. A standard foam filter would utilize 60 cells per sq.cm with is more restrictive with less flow.

With regular maintenance expect them to last approximately 5 to 7 years.

We’ve made it easy to simply open the box and fit the filter.

The conditioning treatment is required to filter out the fine particles.

The foam construction has more media than a multi-layer cotton construction filter.

This provides a tortuous path for the dust particles to travel through, creating significant opportunity for the dust particles to collide and adhere to the oil coating within the foam cells.

The large number of cells creates increased surface area for dust collection. The dust is able to stick to the walls of the cells without restricting flow.

No. The O2Rush air filters have had their durability and DHC (dust holding capacity) tested as part of the international test standard ISO5011 (SAE 726).

This test procedure used leads to fully coating the filter with dust and completely blocking the air flow. The outcome of this is the filter is subjected to full suction force.

The foam technology allows us to use more foam in its construction giving it more structural integrity.
