Use of incorrect filter in Ford BA Falcon may void warranty
LPG vehicles have increased tendencies to backfire and Ford offer an alternative filter for the BA Falcon to handle such occurrences.
The Ford Genuine filter for petrol vehicles use a non-woven synthetic filter media and cannot be used on LPG vehicles because of its flammable nature and lack of structural strength.
